If you attended the "Mutts & Mimosas" puppy adoption event hosted at JK Grooming's space on 6th Ave in Denver on December 11th, then you know the amount of cuteness that was running about that morning!  Michelle, from the organization SWAR (Stormy Weathers Animal Rescue), brought all these little babies in the hopes of having them adopted... and I don't think that ended up being a problem.... like at all :)

And I mean, look at these guys!  Who could resist?  

Shooting on location can be very fun, as I get to source fun colors and props right from my clients home.  In this case, I photographed these adorable pups in one of JK Grooming's wash rooms.  This was a super challenging space, as it wasn't much bigger than a small bathroom.  Once I got myself, my light stand, soft box, and the puppies in there, it was cozy quarters.  But these little pups didn't mind.  And the wash basin I photographed them on worked great as a puppy corral!  These little guys did NOT want to sit still!

Out of the 6 puppies that were there, Calvin was definitely the odd man out.  But because of that, he also stole the hearts of everyone that stopped in.

And then there was this cutie...

At the end of the event, while SWAR and the JK Grooming crew were enjoying some treats out front and meeting some of the potential pet parents, these adoptees were getting some well deserved beauty rest.  I mean, it can't be easy being this cute... right?
